Creamy Blue Cheese Dressing
This dressing is still rich and yummy when you make it with non-fat dairy products and low-fat mayonnaise. Try this recipe! It’s a perfect match for iceberg lettuce or as a dip for Buffalo wings.
Yields: 1 ¼ cups
Ingredients:
1/3 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise
1/3 cup non-fat plain yogurt
1/3 cup non-fat buttermilk, or non-fat milk
2 tablespoons tarragon vinegar, or white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, mustard
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese, (1 ounce)
Method of Preparation: Whisk mayonnaise, yogurt, buttermilk (or milk), vinegar, salt, pepper and mustard in a medium bowl until smooth. Add the cheese and stir, mash it with a spoon until the cheese is incorporated. Cover and refrigerate for up to 1 week. Also, stir before using.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 tablespoons water
1/4 cup white vinegar
1 packet Italian salad dressing mix
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
3 tablespoons grated Romano cheese
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
Method of Preparation: In a large-sized bowl, whisk oil, water, vinegar and salad dressing mix. Then add the remaining ingredients and whisk thoroughly until combined. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.

10 kalamata olives, pitted

2 teaspoons of dried Italian seasoning
1/2 of a small onion – coarsely chopped
1 large garlic clove 2 teaspoons lemon zest
3 Tablespoons of Greek yogurt or sour cream
2 teaspoons coarsely ground black pepper
1 to 2 teaspoons sea salt
Method of Preparation: Zip all in a blender or food processor until smooth. Store in a jar or can with a tight-fitting lid. Refrigerate for up to 1 week.

1/4 cup water
1/2 cup milk

1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon finely minced onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 dash Worcestershire sauce
1 dash hot pepper sauce
